Google Launches Anti-Misinformation Project in India, Will Use 'Pre-Bunking' Videos to Counter False Claims

Google's Jigsaw subsidiary has announced a new anti-misinformation project in India that will use "prebunking" videos – designed to counter false claims blamed for inciting violence in the country, before they become widespread, on the company's YouTube service, as well as other social media websites.
