WhatsApp Working on Notification Shortcut to Block Senders With a Single Tap on Android: Report

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new block shortcut feature for Android for a future update. It will enable users to block an unwanted or unknown contact from sending text messages directly from the notification bar. WhatsApp currently lets users reply to a chat or mark it as read from the notification bar.
