Black Ops 4 fans hate body armour, but it looks like it's staying

While the first beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 isn’t due to start on PC until August 11, it kicked off yesterday for PS4 owners. While there are a number of issues that players have reported, one problem in particular seems to be drawing their ire - body armour. This is available as one of the new gear upgrades in the game, and players don’t seem to like it one bit.

Developer Treyarch has since responded to these concerns on Reddit, but while it acknowledged that body armour “can feel frustrating to fight against” they will not be changing it or removing it at this time.

In the Day 1 recap  of issues players have encountered in the beta, Treyarch say “we hear what you’re saying about Armor” but they will not be changing it right now. The developer says that, “it’s really important that we see the full range of Create-a-Class content in play with a lot of data about player performance with this content before we rush into any changes with it,” and added, “let’s give this one a few more days to breathe.”
