“More than 10 new games” will debut at The Game Awards
November 27, 2018 New game announcements at The Game Awards 2018 will hit double digits.
The Game Awards 2018 air in little over a week, and as always the promise of new game announcements tends to overshadow the award show itself. But hey, new stuff is exciting, right? There will be “more than ten new games” making their debut at the event, and that maddeningly vague phrase means we’ll see somewhere between 11 and infinite fresh titles. (Probably closer to 11.) Exactly what those new games will be remains to be seen, though there’ll be some teases about what to expect heading into the show. Last year’s show saw the reveal of Soulcalibur VI, In the Valley of Gods (now in development at Valve), and From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. There’ll be “updates on existing titles too,” though whether that means new content for games that are out or new trailers for announced, upcoming games is unclear. Safe bet that it’ll be a bit of both. One thing we’ll almost certainly see there is Alien: Blackout. An Alien shooter built around a persistent world has officially been in the works for some time, and trademark listings have pointed us to that title. The show’s branding this year looks very Alien-esque, so the game will likely be a big focus there.from PCGamesN https://ift.tt/2SiIbvN
