The Halo devs are giving away a free pizza skin to celebrate The Master Chief Collection on PC

After multiple rumours, Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s PC release was revealed last week. It’s still some way off, but 343 Industry’s announcement - which included a confirmation of the game’s Steam release, as well as its arrival on the Windows store - was met with plenty of excitement from the community. Which means it’s time to celebrate. Yesterday, 343 tweeted to say “thank you for the outpouring of excitement of the news the Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. As a token of our gratitude, we’d like to offer you a hot slice of pepperoni within Halo 5.” What follows is a gif of a Spartan soldier wielding a gun equipped with the pizza-themed ‘Last Slice’ skin. It’s not clear whether the free skin is on offer anymore, but it’s also worth pointing out that Halo 5 is an Xbox One exclusive, so there would have been no slices on offer on PC whatsoever.
