Apex Legends new legends: when will we meet next Legend Wattson?
Apex Legends new Legends are set to arrive in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale every few months, but who is the next Legend? Apex Legend’s collection of misfits has already captured the hearts of many thanks to their unique abilities and distinctive personalities, but the new and unknown will always prove more exciting. Respawn has stuffed plenty of subtle hints and easter eggs into Apex Legends’ map. The newly welcomed Octane had a few teases of his own - such as a newspaper clipping - not to mention plenty of leaks, before he was introduced alongside the season one battle pass.
Unfortunately, Apex Legends isn’t as packed with lore and story cinematics for fans to unpick as with games like Overwatch, which means there’s less information to go on. On top of that, while various leaks have revealed a few future characters, it’s likely that a lot of these datamines are showing off little more than concept art. Thanks to a Season Two update from Respawn, however, we do know that we're guaranteed to get one new Legend at the start of each season.
