Total War: Warhammer 2 will still get DLC, but no new races

The latest DLC pack for Total War: Warhammer II, The Prophet and the Warlock, is out tomorrow, and it adds the skink prophet Tehenhauin and the warlock-engineer Ikit Claw to the Skaven and the Lizardmen races respectively. However, as nice as this new DLC is, players were still hoping to see more substantial expansions for the game in the future - such as new playable races.

They might be waiting a while. Unfortunately, according to Creative Assembly, there will not be any more races, armies, or factions added to Total War: Warhammer II. The only DLC the developer will release from now on will be further 'Lord Packs', such as tomorrow's The Prophet and the Warlock or last year's The Queen and the Crone DLC.

While understandable - Creative Assembly has to stop working on the game at some point, and get to work bringing us Total War: Warhammer 3 - fans who had hoped to see races such as the Dogs of War or the humans of the Araby nation are naturally feeling a little disappointed.
