YouTuber Kwebbelkop’s first game, Havocado, is now in Steam Early Access
May 3, 2019 Havocado has hit Early Access and gotten its first update.
Jordi Maxim van den Bussche is best known as as YouTuber Kwebbelkop, but he’s got a new venture underway in Webble Games - a Dutch studio focused on building simple arcade games with a focus on community and watchability. The developer’s first game, Havocado, has just hit Steam Early Access, and we've played a few rounds with Kwebbelkop himself.
Keep scrolling to see the results of our playtime, but for the basic rundown Havocado is a game where simple, primary-coloured characters try to knock one another off of ridiculous stages, much like Gang Beasts. This game puts a greater emphasis on weapons and vehicles, giving you the option of picking up assault rifles and RPGs or hopping into a tank for more destructive potential with the wacky physics engine.
The game hit Early Access on April 25, and it got is first big update this week, which features two new levels - one focused on jetskis and the other on a secret moon base - as well as new bomb shotgun and laser rifle weapons to make the rounds a little bit more destructive.
