Trios mode returns to Call of Duty: Warzone
Days after Call of Duty: Warzone's default Trios mode was swapped out for Quads, the battle royale game's three-player option is back on the table. But, if you've already been enjoying heading into the fay in teams of four, fear not - Quads are still available, too.
Developer Infinity Ward has announced that on the standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare spin-off's Twitter channel that this morning it's rolled out a playlist update across all the FPS game's platforms. The big news is: "We’ve added BR Trios back into Warzone!" However, they've not replaced Quads, which, along with Solos, is still available in-game. It's worth noting Trios is added back to battle royale, but not Plunder, however.
It's not confirmed why the mode has been reintroduced, and so soon after the change's arrived with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3. However, it's possible it's been brought back following negative feedback in the multiplayer game's community at Trios' removal. Check out the comments under the playlist update's announcement on Reddit and it's clear players are excited to get stuck into three-player teams again.
