E3 is dead, long live the 26 events replacing it
E3 is cancelled, and its organisers aren't even running a digital replacement. But that doesn't mean all the publishers and developers who would've shown their wares at the Electronic Entertainment Expo are going dark this summer. Instead, we might just be getting more game news than ever, as everyone prepares their own digital events to showcase upcoming PC games - and yeah, some stuff about those next-generation consoles, too.
Geoff Keighley has already begun the Summer Game Fest, and companies like Microsoft and Ubisoft have already announced plans for shows similar to their usual E3 press conferences. Add to that a bunch of smaller collectives and multi-day streams from varied media outlets, and you've got a bonanza of gaming announcements that might end up being bigger than E3 itself.
It's already a lot to keep track of, even for us - and we do this for a living. So for both your benefit and ours, we're collecting details on every darn upcoming videogame broadcast we can find, right here. Keep scrolling for details on when each event is taking place, what to expect from them, and how to tune in.
